Residents from Forest Hill House Nursing Home recently enjoyed a day out to Blandford, visiting Compton Abbas Airfield. The entertainment involved a variety of airplanes in action as well as a thrilling wing-walking performance which, unsurprisingly, was a role none of our residents were keen to volunteer for! The outdoor seating area of the onsite cafe provided the perfect view of the show while allowing everybody to make the most of the lovely weather and enjoy an adult refreshment or two.

It was an excellent opportunity for our residents to get out of the care home for the day and the experience was greatly enjoyed by everybody in attendance. As is common among all of the Royal Bay Group’s gold standard nursing homes in Dorset, at Forest Hill House we encourage our guests to live life to the fullest. We take great pleasure in arranging activities such as this for our residents and find them to be massively appreciated and very beneficial.
