Forest Hill House Nursing Home Spend World Book Day With Some Special Guests

The residents of Forest Hill House Nursing Home had the pleasure of spending this year’s World Book Day in the company of some very special visitors. A group of preschool children from Blossoms Day Nursery in Corfe Mullen made the trip up the road to our nursing home in Wimborne to spend some time sharing their favourite books and stories with our residents.

Dressed as characters from some of their favourite books the kids were an absolute delight to play host to. The residents had a lovely time in the company of their guests and enjoyed listening to all of their stories while sharing some stories of their own. It was a fantastic interaction between such different generations and we look forward to welcoming them back soon!

Events like this are incredibly worthwhile for both our residents and the visiting children, which is why we are very proud to arrange such activities. Everybody here at Forest Hill House nursing home in Wimborne are hugely grateful to the team at Blossoms Day Nursery for their part in making this visit happen and we’re excited at the prospect of these visits becoming a regular occurrence.
